Edmond, Kansas
Edmond is a city in Norton, County, Kansas. As of the 2010 Census the city population was 49. The first post office in Edmond was established in June 3, 1879 and the city was incorporated 1916.
History: Jack Edmond, a traveling hardware salesman, offered 1000 flour sacks to Mr. Weaver, owner of Weaver General Merchandise store, in exchange for the town to be named after him. Edmond had a post office from 1879 until 1996.
