Services Provided by Court Services
The 17th Judicial District Court Services is responsible for the supervision of adult offenders. Court Services Officers in the 17th Judicial District cover the counties of Decatur, Norton, Graham, Phillips, Smith and Osborne. Court Services performs a variety of duties which includes the responsibility of completing court reports and supervision, which hold offenders accountable for their behavior, promote public safety and help offenders improve their lives to be able to live more productively and responsibly. Services tasked to Court Services Officers are done so at the courts' directive. These include, but are not limited to: Probation Supervision, Bond Supervision, Pre-dispositional Reports and Pre-sentence Investigation Reports.
